Daniel has a bit of a head cold today, so I decided to try my honey fermented garlic on him! I got this awesome idea from¬†@milkwood_permaculture¬†(these guys are so so so inspiring! 😍). I peeled some fresh local garlic cloves, put them into a small Weck jar, covered them with raw honey then put an airlock lid on. They’ve been fermenting since January sometime. I got the kids to try eating a clove each, but Stella found it way too ‘spicy’ for her liking (Daniel’s nose was blocked!) so now I’m just giving Daniel a teaspoonful of the garlic-infused honey as ‘medicine’ and he LOVES it! Now I wish I’d made more… 🤔 I will use the cloves in my cooking I think.
